About the Forge
Two decades of forged craft
Southern Forge Construction was built on a simple belief: a structure should be forged with the same care a blacksmith gives a blade.
The Founder
Alex Ruiz
Founder & Master Builder
Alex Ruiz started swinging a hammer before he could drive. Over 20+ years, he's forged a reputation across North Carolina for construction that refuses to cut corners — ground-up homes, roofs that weather the worst storms, and carpentry that earns a second look.
Southern Forge was born from Alex's belief that every build deserves the same deliberate craft a blacksmith gives a forged blade: heat, patience, and precision. That philosophy shows up on every job site, in every joint, and in every reveal.

The forge philosophy
Craft over speed
We'd rather forge it right than finish it fast. Every detail earns its place.
Honest from the first call
Transparent plans, budgets, and timelines. No surprises — just craft.
Built to outlast us
Structures meant to stand for generations, not just the next season.
